The wreck of the steel-hulled tugboat, the Pegasus, 77 years old and 110 feet long, is a popular Lee County, Florida artificial reef. It is one of 17 sites in the county that were created by the Division of Natural Resources.

Others include rubble from the old Edison Bridge, a 25-foot tall radio tower and concrete culverts.
